Bad update - please fix ASAP

21 Apr update has mostly broken this tool. Please fix or refund.

Wont disconnect after update

This app worked flawlessly, but after the latest update now my phone will not disconnect from the VPN even under settings menu on the phone. Now I have to uninstall the app in order to disconnect from the VPN.

New version not great, connection issues

The newest version seems to have been broken. It is often stuck connecting and difficult to turn off. Also, why does the email disappear? And why do we need that?? This seems to screw up the functionality for using the iOS passcode (which still does not hide the login detail!) When logged in everything still operates mostly normal. The issue where some apps trigger a VPN reset (Alien Blue e.g.) is scary at times and persists with this new version.

No Problems For Me

I havent had any of the problems everyone else has had. Set itself up and dont have any trouble turning on and off. I have been very satisfied with this service so far. I would suggest activating on a desktop; you receive a discount and you still have access to the mobile app and additional proxy service.

Awful

This company has terrible apps. Whether you choose to use the one for your pc or iPhone, youre going to find out how awful it is. Look elsewhere for a good VPN service.

Works very well

Works perfectly fine for me. Connects and disconnects when I press it and only a few connectivity issues but those were from my router so not the apps fault. Definitely recommending this app to some of my friends.

Keeps disconnecting

New update is disappointing. Keeps dropping off and asking for email.

It works perfectly

Im running iOS 9.3.1 on a iPhone 6s and it runs flawlessly for me. Not sure of the issues other people are having but it works without any problems for me. Its a great service!

Pretty great

Wont disconnect? Theres a second VPN toggle in settings. Its under General/VPN/PIA/ connect on demand. Toggle that off and itll disconnect. Connect on demand is a setting that ensures all of your internet traffic is routed through a VPN. If you turn it off youll have to manually select when you want traffic through the VPN. The app itself is great. Giving poor reviews because you dont understand how things work is not great. Dummies.

Works well for the most part

Pros: When at work and school this VPN service does what it needs to. Variety of servers even allows unblock of country specific content. Reasonable price for a subscription and very important: no logs. Cons: severe bandwidth limit when trying to connect to gigabit at home. When you leave wifi your phone will kick to LTE then the VPN will connect when no longer necessary. Please add an automatic "disable VPN" when not connected to wifi.

Current Update Horrible

I dont know what happened on there end but the vpn connection like to cut out every 15-20 mins now.

Good overall

Have been using it now for more than a year. I only use it if I have to use public wifi.

No problems and user friendly

Theres a pick which country opinion and an on/off option. Havent had any dropout issues. Doesnt get much simpler than that. Happy with the VPN and would buy again.

Good

Works fine for me, love how easy it is

Mostly Satisfied with product

Generally works as expected. Occasional issues connecting and disconnecting as well as having VPN connection dropped (i.e.: turned off without notice.) This last seems to be occurring only in one location (MLB At Bat.) Encryption of data flows has been useful and worth the price.

Cuts out a lot

Works ok, overall, but cuts out a frequently. Obviously with Netflix not working now, its lost a lot of its usefulness.

Not polished

When it works, it works well. However, it can be very hard to disable. Trying to change the status to "Disconnected" can be impossible -- it tries to keep reconnecting. Also, it doesnt always reconnect after being dormant for a while.

Not very impressed!

When I first started using PIA, the service was awesome! However, a few months ago the VPNs started showing up in the wrong places. I spoke to tech-support and they didnt seem to care at all! Since then the VPN locations have gotten worse. These days it takes me four or five tries to connect to an IP that shows up as being in the UK. I think it is time to start looking for a new VPN service provider. What a downfall for a service that really used to be very good.

Awesome

I have this for both the computer and my phone, it works great on both.

Big fan, worth the money

PIA handles business for me!
